Inter midfielder Kristjan Asllani is set to make his first start for the club in this evening’s Serie A clash with Cremonese.

This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, who include the 20-year-old in their predicted starting eleven for the match, whilst they also predict that captain Samir Handanovic will retain his start in goal and Edin Dzeko will start in attack.

So far, Asllani has been restricted to just a few minutes off the bench against Spezia, but the Albanian has been brought in to back up Marcelo Brozovic and he could begin his assignment this evening at the San Siro.

The Gazzetta predicts that the former Empoli midfielder will start at the base of midfield with Brozovic to be given a rest in view of important matches to come.

Meanwhile, Handanovic is set to start in goal rather than making way for the debut of Andre Onana, whilst Dzeko is predicted to be the player who starts in attack alongside Romelu Lukaku in place of the injured Romelu Lukaku and Robin Gosens is set to return to the starting lineup.
