Inter head coach Simone Inzaghi as well as the club directors are hoping that they are able to convince President Steven Zhang to have a change of heart regarding a loan move for Francesco Acerbi before the summer transfer window closes.
This according to Italian broadcaster Sky Sport Italia, who report that the footballing staff at the club are all hoping that they can persuade Zhang to sanction a loan move for the 34-year-old within the next couple of days.
Inter had looked all set to complete a deal to sign Acerbi, but then yesterday Zhang seemed to change his mind and become more inclined to pull out of the deal, not believing that the Lazio defender’s wages would be a good investment for the club.
However, Inzaghi and the directors believe that the investment would be the right one, and they are now working hard to convince the President on the matter before it is too late and the transfer deadline passes.
