Cremonese have re-emerged as candidates to sign Inter midfielder Lucien Agoume on loan before the transfer window closes.

This according to Italian broadcaster Sky Sport Italia, who report that the Frenchman could still join the newly-promoted Serie A team, whilst teams in Ligue 1 are also interested in his signature on loan.

Agoume had been a target for Cremonese earlier on during the transfer window, but the 20-year-old looked to have rejected their interest as he preferred a switch back to Ligue 1 where he spent last season on loan with Brest.

However, the midfielder, who had spent the season before last on loan with Spezia, has still not settled on a new loan club, and Cremonese could re-enter the race for his signature.

The Nerazzurri will have to place Agoume with a new club before the transfer deadline passes, and a move to Cremonese cannot be ruled out, whilst another stint in the French top flight is also possible.
