Inter are working to find clubs for midfielder Lucien Agoume and striker Eddie Salcedo on loan so that they can finally wrap up a deal to sign Lazio defender Francesco Acerbi on loan.

This according to Italian broadcaster Sky Sport Italia, who report that the Nerazzurri are hoping that they can resolve the futures of the two youngsters for this season in order to open the door for Acerbi to finally arrive on a season-long loan.

Inter’s pursuit of Acerbi has stalled for the time being, with a key reason being that club President Steven Zhang is reluctant to approve the investment in the 34-year-old’s wages whilst some players in the squad have not yet been offloaded.

Agoume and Salcedo are two of the main players who have remained at Inter despite the expectation that they will be on their way before the end of the summer transfer window.

Now, the club will have to waste no time in securing loan moves for each of the pair in order to make the space in their wage bill to complete a loan deal for Acerbi before the window slams shut.
