Inter forward Joaquin Correa has not suffered any injury, but just some slight muscle fatigue during the second half of yesterday evening’s Serie A win over Cremonese.
This according to Italian broadcaster Sky Sport Italia, who report that the 28-year-old came off feeling some discomfort in his hip, but that no injury has been detected.
Correa was removed from the pitch for Lautaro Martinez during the second half of yesterday’s match at the San Siro, with the Argentine having indicated to the bench that he did not feel quite right.
The worry could be that the former Lazio and Sevilla forward had picked up an injury, particularly concerning that the Nerazzurri are already missing Romelu Lukaku through injury and will not want to be deprived of another forward during the period.
However, all indications are that the issue was nothing more than some muscular fatigue, which Correa will work to put fully behind him in training over the next few days.
