Inter striker Lautaro Martinez is already on three goals for the season after finding the back of the net in the team’s past three matches, whilst he also assisted Denzel Dumfries’s late winner against Lecce on the opening day.
As football statistics account Opta pointed out in a tweet, this is the first time that the 25-year-old has been involved in a goal by either scoring or assisting in his first four matches in a Serie A season since he joined the Nerazzurri in 2018.
They tweeted, “4 – Lautaro Martínez has been involved in at least one goal (3 goals, 1 assist) in each of his first four games of the season for the first time in Serie A. Start.”
