French outfit Paris Saint-Germain are “optimistic” they will be able to sign Inter’s Slovakian defender Milan Skriniar before the close of the transfer window in Italy tomorrow evening.

This according to French outlet L’Equipe who report that the PSG President Nasser Al-Khelaifi is personally involved to help bring negotiations to a successful close.

In the last few hours new contacts between the two clubs have been made and there is optimism that a deal can be reached, the report continues.

Inter have in private made it known that they are inclined to accept an offer for the Slovakian international captain should the right offer be made by the end of tomorrow evening when the transfer window closes in Italy, the report claims.

Milan Skriniar has been linked with a move to PSG throughout this summer but no agreement with Inter has been reached so far, with Italian media reporting that Inter President Steven Zhang had taken the player off the market.
