Goalkeeper Samir Handanovic was the one Inter player who wasn’t quite up to the standard of the rest of the team in yesterday evening’s 3-1 Serie A win over Cremonese in the view of Italian media.

The 37-year-old received a score of 5.5/10 in the player ratings for the match published in today’s print edition of Rome-based newspaper Corriere dello Sport, the only Nerazzurri player to be graded below a 6/10.

There wasn’t a lot that Handanovic could do about the late consolation goal that Cremonese’s David Okereke scored, as the Nigerian’s effort was placed virtually into the top corner.

However, the captain’s handling of the ball and positioning seemed a little shaky throughout and did not transmit confidence to the backline, according to the Corriere.

Meanwhile, midfield duo Hakan Calhanoglu and Nicolo Barella were rated as the Nerazzurri’s two standout performers on the night, with grades of 7/10 and 7.5/10 respectively from the Rome-based newspaper.
