Stuttgart will not let wingback Borna Sosa leave for less than €20 million before the transfer window closes, with Inter having identified the Croat as a potential replacement for Robin Gosens.

This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, who report that the Nerazzurri could try to convince the Germans on an initial paid loan deal with a purchase obligation in order to meet their valuation.

Inter have quickly lined up Sosa as their priority replacement in the event that Gosens departs before the window slams shut, with talks now ongoing with Bayer Leverkusen over a possible transfer for the former Atalanta wingback.

The Nerazzurri could be willing to cash in on the 28-year-old after less than a year, but they would then need to replace him and would want the replacement to cost less than has been brought in for Gosens.

Sosa is seen as having the right profile, but his club would not let him go for cheap, and so the Nerazzurri are offering an initial paid loan deal to spread out the cost of signing the 24-year-old.
