Inter defender Danilo D’Ambrosio acted fast when a young Inter fan was upset at not being able to meet Romelu Lukaku outside of Appiano Gentile.
As has been reported by FCInter1908, there was a potentially upsetting situation at the gates of Appiano Gentile on Thursday afternoon which Danilo D’Ambrosio quickly turned positive.
Fans had gathered as the players were leaving the training grounds and there was a young boy who was waiting to meet Romelu Lukaku. The Belgian had been posing for photographs and doing autographs but he was then whisked away by adults.
The child then got visibly upset and Danilo D’Ambrosio, who was next through the gates, had the presence of mind to video call Romelu Lukaku so that the child could talk to his idol face to face via the phone.
That quickly made the young boy smile again. The team were training in preparation for the match against AC Milan.
