Inter defender Alessandro Bastoni is struggling with a fever but it is not expected to keep him out of the AC Milan game, according to a report in the Italian media today.

As has been reported by FCInternews, the Italian defender was suffering with a slight fever on Wednesday night which is why he ended up staying overnight at the training centre.

In training on Thursday morning, he did a lighter session than the rest of his teammates but it was apparently just a precautionary measure and there is no fear that he will be too ill to face AC Milan on Saturday.

The only player who was entirely missing from the group at training was Romelu Lukaku who is injured and will not be part of the squad for the Derby della Madonnina.

Joaquin Correa took part and he is expected to take the Belgian’s place in the starting lineup.
