Italian journalist Maurizio Pistocchi believes that reported Inter target Borna Sosa is a good player who combines both physical and technical attributes in the wingback position

Replying to a question about Sosa on Twitter, Pistocchi gave his appraisal of the 24-year-old who the Nerazzurri have been linked with as a possible replacement in the event that Robin Gosens leaves the club.

Sosa has already been linked as an Inter target once before, during the January transfer window of last season when the club were on the lookout for a left-wingback and eventually settled on signing Gosens from Atalanta.

However, the German could very well already be on his way out from the Nerazzurri, with Bayer Leverkusen reportedly trying to sign him.

If Gosens were to depart, Inter would immediately move for a like-for-like replacement, and in this respect Sosa now appears to be one of the first names on their list.

Pistocchi described Sosa as “A good player, 186 cm tall, physically strong, good technique as well and a great left foot, can play wide in a 3-5-2 or as a winger in a 4-4-2 system.”
