Paris Saint Germain’s strategy to sign Milan Skriniar from Inter has proven to be clumsy as Steven Zhang is set to reject their advances again, according to a report in the Italian media today.

As has been reported by Tuttosport, the Inter president has yet again rejected an approach from the French champions for the Slovakian defender, this time saying no to a deal worth €65 million.

PSG appear to have chosen a strategy that has not worked as they have focused on the contract which expires in 2023 and therefore not made an offer at Inter’s asking price throughout the summer.

They likely assumed that Inter would accept a deal from them to avoid losing him for free next summer. What they did not account for is the fact that the player is extremely settled at Inter and s ready to sign a new contract as long as it meets his fresh demands.
