Paris Saint Germain have ended their long chase to sign Milan Skriniar from Inter and he will now stay with the Nerazzurri, according to a report in the French media today.

As has been reported by French newspaper L’Equipe, the Ligue 1 champions have finally conceded defeat in their chase for the Slovakian defender which has been running for almost the entire summer transfer window.

There were times when it seemed very possible that Inter would accept a bid for the player but PSG never offered a fee that matched or got close enough to the figure Inter had asked for.

The Parisians still need to sign a new defender but they can see that Inter are staying true to their word and after taking him off of the market a couple of weeks ago, they are not going to then accept a bid on deadline day for the star player.
