Alexis Saelemaekers is expected to be given the start by Stefano Pioli on the right win against Inter instead of Junior Messias, according to a report in the Italian broadcast media.

As has been reported by Sky Sport Italia, via FCInternews, the Belgian winger will be chosen by Stefano Pioli to attack Inter’s left side rather than Brazilian Junior Messias who many had expected to start in that role.

That is the main area of contention in the Milan squad and there are not expected to be any surprises when it comes to other selections.

The back four will be comprised of Theo Hernandez, Pierre Kalulu, Fikayo Tomori and Davide Calabria. Sandro Tonali and Ismael Bennacer will be in midfield and then Rafael Leao, Charles De Ketelaere and Alexis Saelemaekers will be the three attackers behind Olivier Giroud.

The match against Inter kicks off at 18:00 local time at San Siro on Saturday.
