Inter’s transfer window is only worthy of a 7/10 rating after a very chaotic few months at Viale della Liberazione, according to a report in the Italian print media today.

As has been reported by Corriere dello Sport today, the Nerazzurri had a decent window this summer but there were still some negative elements.

The fact that Ivan Perisic was able to leave the club for free rather than being persuaded to sign a new contract was a negative and of course the failed pursuits of Paulo Dybala and Gleison Bremer do not reflect well on the club.

They have brought in good players though without huge financial outlays. Romelu Lukaku is the headline but the likes of Henrikh Mkhitaryan, Kristjan Asllani, Raoul Bellanova and Andre Onana all joined too.

They added Francesco Acerbi eventually although it was a disorganised end to the window. Keeping Milan Skriniar was also very important for Inter.
