Over 75000 spectators are expected to be inside the San Siro when Inter take on AC Milan in Serie A on Saturday evening, according to a report in the Italian media.
As has been confirmed by the Rossoneri on their official website, the stadium is now completely sold out for the upcoming match.
It is certainly the biggest of the season so far for the two teams and the biggest for Serie A. The game is expected to be broadcast in more than 150 countries with more than 20 cameras capturing every last bit of the action.
More than 10,000 of those who have purchased tickets for the Derby della Madonninaare from countries outside of Italy, with around 145 nationalities represented.
It is a testament to the size of the two clubs globally and the pull of such a historic stadium hosting such a historic game that is a staple of the European football calendar.
