It was Olivier Giroud who made it 2-1 to Stefano Pioli’s side and then Rafael Leao got his second of the game to make it 3-1 with a superb solo effort.

Olivier Giroud says that it when the game should have been closed out by the Rossoneri but instead, Edin Dzeko got a gaol back after coming on off of the bench and it changed th dynamic of the last portion of the match.

“We wanted to celebrate all together. We have a fantastic group, with a great team spirit and cohesion. We have many young players, but every day is a pleasure to play with these talents.

“There is a lot of synergy between us. At 3-1 we have to close the game, at the end Dzeko scored but we did well. A great game from our defenders. Today we had the whole team compact and we didn’t leave any space. Leao? I knew he was staying, I wasn’t worried.”
