Differences Between AC Milan’s Maignan & Inter’s Handanovic Clear Whilst Questions To Be Asked Of Inzaghi, Italian Media Report

The difference in quality between AC Milan goalkeeper Mike Maignan and Inter goalkeeper Samir Handanovic was clear during the Milan derby, according to a report in the Italian print media today. 

As has been suggested by a report in Corriere della Sera today, there was a lot for Inter to come to terms within the 3-2 defeat against the Rossoneri on Saturday night.

One thing is that AC Milan clearly have the far superior goalkeeper as Mike Maignan made a number of superb saves throughout the match which could not be replicated at the other end by Samir Handanovic. 

There are also questions that need to be asked of Simone Inzaghi when it comes to the selections that he made for the game and also the timing of his changes in the second half which did not have the full effect that he would have wanted, with only Edin Dzeko and Federico Dimarco making a difference.
