Edin Dzeko has received praise from the Italian media for his small role in the game against AC Milan on Saturday night at the San Siro.
As has been reported by the print edition of La Gazzetta dello Sport in their report cards after the match, Edin Dzeko is the only player in the Inter squad who has warranted any serious form of praise.
The Bosnian came on in the second half having been left on the bench in favour of Joaquin Correa. Edin Dzeko got the goal that made it 3-2 and gave Inter some hope of snatching something from the game after being 3-1 down.
He was given a rating of 6.5 out of 10 and it was pointed out that he raised the level of his teammates and showed that he has a warrior spirit.
Stefan de Vrij was given just 4.5 out of 10, as was Alessandro Bastoni and then there was just 5/10 for Denzel Dumfries.
