Inter are going to be relying heavily on the work of Edin Dzeko to try and get a result against Bayern Munich on Wednesday night, according to a report in the Italian print media today.

As has been reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport today, the Bosnian striker was the only player who showed any real leadership qualities against AC Milan when he came off of the bench.

He got the goal that made it 3-2 and he brought others such as Lautaro Martinez back into the play. It was not enough to get anything from the game but it is assumed that he will be starting against Bayern Munich at San Siro in the first Champions League group game.

He also broke a record for Inter in the derby as he became the oldest player to score against AC Milan for Inter in Serie A, beating the record held by Walter Samuel.
