Inter striker Edin Dzeko has received praise from the Italian media for the spirit that he showed during the 3-2 defeat against AC Milan on Saturday evening.

As has been reported by L’Interista, there were some high ratings for the Bosnian forward from various elements of the Italian media for his performance off of the bench at the San Siro.

He came on when Inter had dropped behind by two goals which were scored by Olivier Giroud and Rafael Leao. It was perhaps too little too late by that point for Simone Inzaghi to make the changes but Edin Dzeko very quickly scored.

He got to a cross at the near post and flicked it into the back of the net, showing his experience to sniff out the chance whilst under pressure.

For that reason, he was given 6.5 by La Gazzetta dello Sport and L’Interista, and then 7/10 by Corriere dello Sport, Tuttosport and TMW.
