The issue of Simone Inzaghi getting his substitutions wrong has appeared again as Inter lost 3-2 against AC Milan on Saturday evening, according to a report in the Italian media today.

The analysis from FCInter1908 discussed the fact that the Italian coach has once again shown that he may not have the calm tactical mindset that is needed in the big games like this one at the San Siro.

The initial squad selection did not seem to work as Joaquin Correa could not affect the game. The changes of Edin Dzeko and Federico Dimarco did improve the team briefly but the other changes appears to come far too late as AC Milan were already 3-1 up.

Before taking the lead, it was clear that the Rossoneri were the team in the ascendency and the coach may have missed his chance to turn the tide before the game started to get away from the Nerazzurri.
