There was serious disappointment in the Inter hierarchy after the defeat against AC Milan on Saturday evening, according to a report in the Italian print media today.

As has been reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport today, there was a serious amount of disappointment in more than just the dressing room after the 3-2 defeat against AC Milan.

The Nerazzurri took the lead in the first half but did not then impose themselves on the opposition. They conceded the equaliser through Rafael Leao and then fell away dramatically in the second half as Olivier Giroud scored and Rafael Leao got another.

There was a goal from Edin Dzeko to get Inter back into the game but they could not get an equaliser or winner. That caused serious disappointment in the hierarchy of the club as the start to the season has been below par. It does not reflect well on Simone Inzaghi.
