Goalkeeper Andre Onana should not be very far away at all from making his first competitive appearance for Inter.
This according to today’s print edition of Rome-based newspaper Corriere dello Sport, who report that the Cameroonian should be trusted with the starting spot very soon as coach Simone Inzaghi looks to breathe new life into the team with rotations.
So far this season, captain Samir Handanovic has started five Serie A matches from five for the Nerazzurri, and the Slovenian is still fully trusted by Inzaghi in spite of some criticism for his performances.
However, at the same time, the coach wants to get the best out of his entire squad, and is increasingly willing to rotate in players who haven’t been fixtures in the starting eleven to give them a chance to show their quality and add intensity on the pitch.
Onana will soon be trusted to prove his worth with a first competitive appearance as Inzaghi is ready to see what the 26-year-old can do.
