Inter head coach Simone Inzaghi wants to see his team more switched-on defensively after how cheaply they conceded their goals against AC Milan in the loss in the derby on Saturday.

This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, who report that the coach called for increased concentration in his talks with the team in yesterday’s training session.

Inter had some positive moments in Saturday’s derby clash with AC Milan, but any good work was undone by the shambolic manner in which they conceded, particularly the second and third goal.

The coach was scathing in his analysis of the way that the team conceded on both occasions, noting that they came from straightforward defensive errors, seemingly resulting from carelessness and a lack of attention.

For Inzaghi, this is plainly unacceptable, and he emphasized to his players that going forward the only option for them is to start concentrating for ninety minutes or else risk losing their place.
