Inter goalkeeper Andre Onana could soon be given his competitive debut for the club after joining in the summer, and for many Nerazzurri fans this would be a welcome development.

This according to today’s print edition of Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport, who note that there have been increasing calls on social media by Inter fans for the Cameroonian to be given his chance in the starting eleven.

So far Onana has only appeared in preseason friendlies for Inter, as he has not yet managed to displace the man he’s widely seen as the long-term successor to from the starting eleven in the form of captain Samir Handanovic.

However, the time would seem to be getting closer and closer at hand for the 26-year-old to get the chance to prove his worth.

For many Nerazzurri fans, this won’t come a moment too soon, as they are excited to see what kind of new energy Onana can bring to the team, and they have been making their voices heard on social media for a while now.
