Inter’s Champions League clash with Bayern Munich tomorrow and their Serie A clash with Roma at the start of next month are already very close to being sold out.

This according to Italian news outlet Gazzetta.it, who report that over 70,000 tickets to both matches are already sold at the San Siro, suggesting that anticipation around the team has hardly been dampened by Saturday’s derby loss to AC Milan.

Inter’s first two home Serie A matches of the season, against Spezia and Cremonese, were played in front of a packed house, as their final match of last season against Sampdoria had also been.

A derby defeat over the weekend has cast something of a dark cloud over the Nerazzurri for the moment, but evidently the excitement around fans is still sufficient to motivate them to come out in numbers to support the team.

All of tomorrow’s match, this Saturday’s Serie A clash with Torino, and the match against Roma on October 1 look close to being more sold-out matches.
