Inter defender Milan Skriniar’s fitness will be evaluated ahead of this Saturday’s Serie A clash with Torino after he suffered a bruise during yesterday evening’s Champions League loss to Bayern Munich.

This according to today’s print edition of Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport, who report that the Slovenian suffered the bruise in an accidental collision with teammate Marcelo Brozovic, and that it will remain to be seen whether he’s ready to face the Granata over the weekend.

Skriniar started yesterday evening’s match in the centre of defense, and the 27-year-old was given a difficult assignment by a dominant Bayern team, whilst his night had a further sour note when an accidental coming together with midfielder Brozovic left him with a painful bruise.

The Slovakian’s condition will be evaluated in training over the next couple days, but it could be possible that he is not risked against Torino as he recovers from the bruise.
