Inter striker Romelu Lukaku could potentially make a return from the thigh injury that has kept him out of the last few matches in the last match before the international break, a Serie A clash away to Udinese.
This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, who report that the Belgian is pushing to make his return as soon as possible, and that a return for the trip to Friuli on September cannot be ruled out.
Lukaku is back in Milan where he is working as hard as he can to put the strain to his left thigh that has ruled him out of matches against Cremonese and AC Milan in Serie A and Bayern Munich in the Champions League behind him.
There is no chance of the 29-year-old being back to face Torino tomorrow, and an appearance against Viktoria Plzen in the Champions League can also be ruled out as the club do not want to take any risks with his fitness.
However, Lukaku is pushing to make his return as soon as he can, and he could be in the team to face Udinese.
