The trio of goalkeeper Samir Handanovic, midfielder Nicolo Barella, and defender Stefan de Vrij are all expected to be back in Inter’s starting eleven to face Torino tomorrow after having been left out against Bayern Munich.

This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, who predict that all three will make their return to the team as coach Simone Inzaghi is set to rotate the team that played in the Champions League group stage opener.

Inzaghi decided to make extensive changes to his squad for Wednesday’s clash with Bayern compared to the Milan derby last week, with captain Handanovic dropping out for a debuting Andre Onana.

The captain is expected to be back between the posts, whilst Barella and de Vrij are anticipated to come back into the lineup in favour of Henrikh Mkhitaryan and Danilo D’Ambrosio respectively.

The Gazzetta’s predicted eleven for the match is as follows:

Inter (3-5-2): Handanovic; Skriniar, De Vrij, Bastoni; Darmian, Barella, Brozovic, Calhanoglu, Dimarco; Dzeko, Lautaro.
