Captain Samir Handanovic, defender Stefan de Vrij, midfielder Nicolo Barella, and wingback Matteo Darmian are all set to return to Inter’s starting eleven for this evening’s Serie A clash with Torino.
This according to today’s print edition of Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport, who report that the quartet will all be trusted in the lineup after having been notable omissions from the starting eleven for the Champions League clash with Bayern Munich during the week.
Inter coach Simone Inzaghi made a number of rotations to the team that lined up against Bayern on Wednesday, with Handanovic making way for Andre Onana to make his debut in goal, whilst Barella was a notable omission and did not even come off the bench.
However, the coach will revert back to including the players as he once again looks to freshen up the team with a significant number of rotations.
Tuttosport’s complete starting eleven for the clash is as follows:
Inter (3-5-2): Handanovic; D’Ambrosio, De Vrij, Bastoni; Dumfries, Barella, Brozovic, Calhanoglu, Darmian; Dzeko, Lautaro.
