Inter could decide to pursue legal action against current main shirt sponsor DigitalBits if they continue to not pay the amount owed on the sponsorship deal into January.

This according to today’s print edition of Rome-based newspaper La Repubblica, who report that the Nerazzurri could decide to pursue legal action in the event that the initial tranche on the deal does not arrive by the start of next year.

Serious financial problems at DigitalBits have prevented the cryptocurrency company from being able to make the first payment on their shirt sponsorship deal with Inter despite the fact that it only began at the start of this season.

The deal already looks to be dead in the water, but the Nerazzurri are still hoping to collect the initial payment that they are owed, and to this end legal action cannot be ruled out, with January the deadline that they have set.
