Edin Dzeko looks to be the favourite to start in attack for Inter in tomorrow evening’s Champions League clash with Viktoria Plzen, ahead of Joaquin Correa.

This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, who report that the Bosnian is likely to line up alongside from the start alongside Lautaro Martinez against the Czech team, with the out-of-form Correa starting on the bench.

After a bright start to the season, scoring two goals from his opening four matches, Correa’s performances have tailed off a bit in his last few appearances, whilst Dzeko has been preferred from the start against Bayern Munich and Torino following a positive substitute appearance against AC Milan.

It now looks probable that the 36-year-old will once again be trusted to lead the line for the Nerazzurri in tomorrow’s away trip to Plzen, with coach Simone Inzaghi putting his faith in the striker rather than in Correa.
