Viktoria Plzen head coach Michal Bilek feels that Inter’s squad has virtually no weak points, and that they will not be any easier for his side to face on account of their opening day Champions League group stage loss to Bayern Munich.

Speaking in a press conference ahead of tomorrow’s match, as reported by TuttoMercatoWeb, the coach gave his thoughts on facing the Nerazzurri ahead of tomorrow’s Champions League clash.

Inter will feel that they are favourites going into tomorrow’s match against Viktoria, and the Czech side’s coach doesn’t deny this.

The home side will certainly feel that a result is possible, but as with their matches against Bayern Munich and Barcelona, they are facing formidable opposition with a significantly higher technical level than them on paper, and Bilek acknowledged the quality of the Nerazzurri’s squad.

“They have no weaknesses,” he said of Inter’s squad. “They’re a very strong team, with two very good forwards like in the form of Dzeko and Lautaro, but the same goes for the midfielders as well.”

“They’re good at attacking quickly,” he noted, “we’ll have to be careful not to give them space in the final third.”

Of Inter striker Dzeko, Bilek said that “He’s one of the best strikers out there, and the fact that he plays for Inter proves it. We have to be careful with him, we can’t let him get in front of goal because then he always scores. That will be important.”

And as to whether or not he expects the opening loss to Bayern to affect Inter, the coach replied that “All of Inter’s players are professionals and match lost, even if in the Champions League, has no effect on them.”

“They know there are other games to play,” he continued, “we will try to be prepared and make things difficult for them.”
