Inter’s Primavera team are going in search of their first win of what has been a difficult season so far in this evening’s UEFA Youth League clash with Viktoria Plzen.

This according to today’s print edition of Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport, who note that the Nerazzurri’s Under-19s have yet to take three points in the league and that coach Christian Chivu is looking to kickstart their season so they can be at the level of last campaign.

Inter won the Under-19 Scudetto in Italy last season, a major achievement that reflected the quality within the club’s academy system, but they have not exactly followed it up in inspiring fashion.

Three defeats and two draws domestically and a 2-2 draw with their Bayern counterpart last week have not been the most solid of starts to the season, although at the time of publishing the Nerazzurri are 3-0 up against Viktoria at halftime and so this could be the spark their season needs.
