Inter striker Romelu Lukaku is hoping that he can make his return to full training very soon in anticipation of returning from his thigh injury after the international break.

This according to Italian broadcaster Sky Sport Italia, who report that the Belgian is not yet back in full training with the rest of the squad and continuing to work individually on his recovery, but that he could be back training with his teammates in the coming days.

Lukaku is all but certain to miss out on Sunday’s Serie A clash with Udinese, as it has been deemed that he will not quite be fully fit for that match and so will not be risked.

However, with a return set for the matches against Roma and Barcelona after the break, the 29-year-old could look to get a head start on preparations and begin training again with his teammates in the coming days.
