Inter striker Edin Dzeko has a bit of a penchant for scoring against Czech team Viktoria Plzen, having already faced them five times and scored seven goals in those matches.

The Bosnian has bagged two hat-tricks against Plzen while playing with Roma, once in the Europa League group stages in 2016 and then in the Champions League group stages in 2018.

Dzeko scored one and assisted another in Inter’s 2-0 win over the Czechs in the Champions League yesterday evening, and as football statistics account Opta noted in a tweet, this means that they are the team he has scored against most since coming to Serie A.

Their tweet reads, “7 – Edin Dzeko has scored seven goals against Viktoria Plzen with Roma and Inter; since he has been in Italy against no team he has done better. Habitual.
