Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur could join Paris Saint-Germain in the hunt to sign Inter defender Milan Skriniar in January or next summer if the Nerazzurri fail to wrap up a contract extension.

This according to Italian news outlet FCInterNews, who report that the two major Premier League clubs are among the teams interested in the 27-year-old’s signature in addition to PSG’s widely reported interest.

Inter are hoping to agree a new deal with Skriniar soon, wary of the continued interest of PSG who have been reported to be preparing to try and move for the Slovakian in the January transfer window.

The Nerazzurri are prepared to make a first offer of a deal worth 5.5 million net per season plus €1 million in add-ons, but the player and his representatives would likely not accept this, and would want at least to be on par with the €6.5 million net plus €1 million that Marcelo Brozovic earns.

PSG would be ready to pounce if Inter fail to agree a new deal with Skriniar, but Tottenham and above all Chelsea are also keeping tabs on his situation.
