Inter-owned goalkeeper Andre Radu feels that it is an important step now that he is playing regular football again on loan with Cremonese this season.

Speaking in a press conference, as reported by TuttoMercatoWeb, the 25-year-old expressed his happiness at having a regular starting place for the newly-promoted side after having found playing time very hard to come by in his past two seasons at the Nerazzurri.

Radu had been firmly behind Inter captain Samir Handanovic in the pecking order in goal for the Nerazzurri, whilst his start against Bologna in April provided a moment of infamy for him as his error in possession allowed the Rossoblu to win the match.

The Romanian didn’t get life at Cremonese off to the best of starts after another costly error late on in his debut for the team allowed Fiorentina to win a dramatic 3-2 match, but things have gotten easier for him since then, and he now feels confident with regular playing time.

“The important thing is to have continuity and to be on the pitch regularly,” the keeper said. “And I’ve found that here and Cremonese, and I thank them.”
