Inter striker Romelu Lukaku continued to train on his own apart from the rest of the squad today as he worked on his recovery from injury ahead of his anticipated return after the international break.

This according to Italian broadcaster Sky Sport Italia, who report that the Belgian is still not yet back in full training along with the rest of the group, although this could come soon.

Lukaku will not be available for the Nerazzurri’s Serie A clash with Udinese on Sunday, although the plan has been for him to make his return fully fit after the break, with the first match back against Roma the target for him to be back in the team.

The 29-year-old has reportedly been close to a return to full training in the past couple of days, but today he was still working individually, as no risks were taken with the striker’s fitness.
