Inter midfielder Nicolo Barella is not injured and is set to be included in the starting eleven to face Udinese on Sunday.
This according to today’s print edition of Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport, who report that the 25-year-old’s presence from the start against the Bianconeri is virtually certain as he is not carrying any injury from the heavy challenged suffered in Tuesday’s match against Viktoria Plzen.
Barella took a very heavy tackle from Plzen midfielder Pavel Bucha that saw the Czech’s studs make contact with his shin during the second half of the Nerazzurri’s Champions League group stage win away in Plzen, which saw the Inter player writhing in some pain for a while after.
However, there are no significant lingering effects from the tackle, and there is no reason to think that the former Cagiari midfielder will not be fully prepared to be in the starting lineup when his team travel to Friuli this weekend.
