Inter striker Edin Dzeko is expected to be in the Nerazzurri’s starting eleven yet again in this weekend’s Serie A clash with Udinese, and he will have the added motivation of chasing his one-hundredth goal in Serie A between the Nerazzurri and Roma.

This according to Italian broadcaster SportMediaset, who include the Bosnian in the predicted starting eleven for Sunday’s match at the Stadio Friuli, and also note the fact that he could hit triple figures within Italy’s top flight if he is to get himself on the scoresheet.

Dzeko has had a significant impact in the early part of the season, grabbing the opportunities in the team afforded to him by the unexpected injury to Romelu Lukaku.

The 36-year-old’s performances against the likes of AC Milan, Bayern Munich, Torino, and Viktoria Plzen should be enough to earn him another start against Udinese, and if he is to score against the Bianconeri it will be his hundredth goal in Serie A.
