Inter have made contact with the representatives of young Udinese forward Simone Pafundi about the possibility of signing the 16-year-old in the future.

This according to Italian news outlet FCInterNews, who report that the Nerazzurri have expressed an initial interest in signing the young forward, although at this point they have not gone further than sounding out the player’s entourage and getting a sense of his plans.

Pafundi has been marked out as a top young talent from within Udinese’s youth ranks, and whilst so far the 16-year-old has largely only made appearances for the Bianconeri’s Primavera team, last season and this season, he did make his first-team debut against Salernitana on the final day of last season.

The 16-year-old, who was also called up for a match against AC Milan but did not appear on the pitch, has attracted transfer interest from a number of clubs, and Inter have made contact with his representatives to see whether they could make a move in the future.
