Torino head coach Ivan Juric feels that Inter-owned wingback Ivan Juric has already gone a long way towards proving himself in a Granata shirt but that he can still improve.

Speaking in a press conference ahead of his team’s Serie A clash with Sassuolo tomorrow, as reported by FCInterNews, Juric stressed that the Austrian has enough quality that he can perform even better than he has, even though he has had a solid start to life in Turin.

Lazaro joined Torino on loan with an option to buy this summer, his fourth loan club since joining Inter from Hertha Berlin in the summer of 2019, after having spent time at Newcastle United, Borussia Monchengladbach, and Benfica.

The feeling is that Juric could be the right coach to finally unlock the 26-year-old’s best form given how the Croatian tactician has tended to develop wingbacks in his system, and for his part the coach feels that the player can still grow more.

“I’d say he can still do more,” he said of the Nerazzurri-owned player. “He’s done well so far, but there are still margins for him to get even better. With player who haven’t always been able to play much in the past, it’s important that they show their best form.”
