Inter head coach Simone Inzaghi is expecting a tricky match from tomorrow’s Serie A clash with Udinese at the Stadio Friuli given the quality that the opposition have shown already this season.

Speaking via the Nerazzurri’s official Instagram account, the coach gave his thoughts on the approach that the team will need to take three points off of the Bianconeri, emphasizing that they will have to show their quality as the real Inter to overcome the Bianconeri.

Udinese are not only the form team in Serie A, but currently one of the most in-form team among the top European leagues, having won four out of four from their most recent league fixtures, including a 4-0 demolition of Roma.

Inter will travel to Friuli with the hope that they can give the Bianconeri a reality check by showing their superiority in terms of quality, but Inzaghi is well aware that, in order to do this, they will have to play in the right way.

“We come off the back of two consecutive wins, but we know that playing every two days isn’t easy,” he said “Now we go to Udine, it will be a very, very demanding match against a team who are in great form.”

“Playing so often I need everyone,” the coach said of the squad depth, “clearly for us coaches it’s a great sign when the team looks compact and determined even after you make changes.”

Of in-form Udinese, Inzaghi said that “We ‘l have to be very careful, they’re a team who are very physically fit and well-coached, with players who have both quality and workrate.”

“We’ll have to play a game of intensity, aggression, and determination because we’re up against the team with the best winning streak in the league,” he noted.

“Surely they’re one of the teams in the best form in Serie A,” Inzaghi added, “we know that we come up against a difficult team to play, we have to face them as the real Inter.”

Of what he wants to see from his team’s initial approach to the match, the coach said that “It will be decisive because Udinese can score in the opening minutes of matches, so we’ll have to approach it in the best way possible.”
