Inter midfielder Marcelo Brozovic was left out of the training match at the end of today’s training session, but this was as a precaution rather than because he has picked up an injury.

This according to Italian news outlet FCInterNews, who report that the Croat will still be included in the squad for tomorrow’s Serie A clash with Udinese at the Stadio Friuli in spite of the minor physical problem.

Nerazzurri coach Simone Inzaghi already has the headache of having to set up his midfield tomorrow without the injured Calhanoglu, and so a problem for Brozovic could make things especially difficult for the coach to find the right balance in midfield.

A report emerged earlier today that the 29-year-old had been left out of the training match at the end of today’s session, with some physical discomfort being enough to keep him on the sideline, but this was nothing more than a precaution, and his availability to face Udinese tomorrow should not be in doubt.
