Inter midfielder Marcelo Brozovic picked up a minor injury in training today which could make put his availability for tomorrow’s Serie A clash with Udinese in doubt.

This according to Italian broadcaster SportMediaset, who report that the 29-year-old felt some discomfort towards the end of training, and that this could potentially affect his fitness with a view to tomorrow’s Serie A clash.

Inter will already have to do without Hakan Calhanoglu in midfield for tomorrow’s match, but coach Simone Inzaghi could have an even greater headache if Brozovic is also out of the team.

The problem does not appear to be very serious for the Croat, but Mediaset report that it was enough of an injury that the midfielder’s availability for tomorrow’s match at the Stadio Friuli could well be affected.

More should become clear regarding Brozovic’s fitness as his condition is assessed closer to the start of tomorrow’s match.
