Inter are ready to offer defender Alessandro Bastoni a new contract worth €4-4.5M Net/Season in order to extend his time at the club.

This according to Italian news outlet FCInterNews, who report that the Nerazzurri are set to make their offer to the 23-year-old soon, and that the player’s only priority is to stay at the club past the end of his current deal in June 2024.

Bastoni’s current contract is set to run out at the end of June 2024, but the player has made his desire to stay clear, resisting the interest of Premier League clubs Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester City during the summer transfer window.

The Nerazzurri do not want to let Bastoni’s situation remain outstanding for too long, however, and their intention is to begin talks soon.

A meeting with Bastoni’s agent Tulio Tinti is likely to take place in the near future, at which point Inter will make their offer of a new deal worth around €4-4.5 million.
