Sky Sport Italia transfer market expert Gianluca Di Marzio expects Roberto Gagliardini to start in midfield for Inter in tomorrow’s Serie A clash with Udinese.

Reporting live on air, Di Marzio predicted that the 28-year-old will take his place alongside Nicolo Barella and Marcelo Brozovic in the centre of the pitch for the Nerazzurri at the Stadio Friuli, and also that Stefan de Vrij and Samir Handanovic will return to the starting eleven.

Hakan Calhanoglu’s injury gives Inter coach Simone Inzaghi a choice to make in midfield, with Gagliardini and Henrikh Mkhitaryan both options, and Kristjan Asllani aslo available, but Di Marzio expects that it will be the former Atalanta man who starts.

Meanwhile, Di Marzio also reports that de Vrij is set to regain his place in the lineup after Francesco Acerbi started against Viktoria Plzen, to reform the defensive trio with Alessandro Bastoni and Milan Skriniar, and that captain Handanovic will be back in goal.
